Birmingham City University
The Department of Media and Communication offers BA (Honours) Media and Communication (Public Relations) as one of a number of specialist degree routes. The teaching team includes Pete Wilby, Boris Worrall, Bethany Klein, Ayo Oyeleye and Mark Sampson. Public Relations also forms part of the Joint Honours Degree Programme offered by the University's Business School and is led by Kathleen Dixon-Donnelly. CIPR professional qualifications are also taught at the University: the Business School offers the Diploma while Media and Communication offers the Advanced Certificate.
University of Bedfordshire
Offers BA (Honours) Public Relations within the Business School. Additionally, two joint honours programmes, BA Journalism and PR and BA Media Studies and PR, are shared between the Business School and the School of Media, Art and Design. Leeds Metropolitan University
The Public Relations and Communications Subject Group at Leeds Metropolitan University has been delivering its BA (Hons) undergraduate degree since 1990. The group also delivers an MA in Public Relations, and MA in European Public Relations in partnership with Dublin Institute of Technolgy (DIT) as well as an MSc in Corporate Communications. The team deliver the CIPR courses and other postgraduate and professional short courses. There are 14 specialist academic staff in the department. University of the Arts London
Based at the London College of Communication (formerly the London College of Printing), offers both BA (Hons) and MA courses in Public Relations, plus BA (Hons) Public Relations with Media & Cultural Studies, and Public Relations with Event Management, all within the School of Creative Enterprise. Academic team includes Paul Simpson, Jeremy Woods and Adriana Dredge, and associate lecturers Dr. Alison Holmes and Peter Willmott.
De Montfort University, Leicester
The Department of Media, Film and Journalism offers an MA in Public Relations. In addition, public relations is taught at undergraduate level within the Media Studies programme. Academic team includes Liz Bridgen, Scott Davidson, Ros Masterson, Nikki Phillips and Paul Smith, and research specialisms include media and gender, public relations evaluation, social media, consumer behaviour, and pressure groups and political communications.
University of Stirling
Offers MSc level courses in public relations for both full-time and distance learning students. Full-time students can choose to study for degrees in Public Relations, Public Relations (Health), Public Relations (Sport) or Public Relations (Tourism). The teaching team includes Matthew Hibberd, Derek Hodge, Jacquie L'Etang and Peter Meech.
